The Operations Business at Deltatel is organized into three major divisions, in line with the key sectors on the market, each one including specializations and specific competences, which aim to develop and offer our clients top of the range services.

MCD: Mobile Communications - Services for telecommunications Operators

FCD: Fixed Communications - Services for telecommunications Operators

PCD: Private Communications - Services for large companies, public services and telecommunications Operators

The local and regional development of Deltatel is reflected in an organization line that includes local branches from Romania, and regional branches in Bulgaria and the Moldavian Republic.

As part of their regular activity, operational divisions collaborate with the other internal departments, which cover a wide range of competences: Strategy, Quality, Commercial&Tendering, Software&IT, Industry, Human Resources, Administrative&Financial.

Mobile Communications Division:

MCD covers a wide range of services starting with installation, testing and commissioning of mobile telephony and transmissions equipments, and ending with proffesional services for planning and optimizing mobile networks, suitable for numerous telecommunications operators, both public and private.
The range of services offered by MCD, mainly in Romania and the Balkans, includes the following:

• Installation, commissioning and network integration of the following mobile telephony equipments 2G, 3G, WiMAX
• Configuration and integration of client servers in the network
• Maintenance and technical support (levels 1&2) for the BSS and UTRAN mobile networks, as well as for transmission networks, types PDH, SDH and OMSN
• Radio engineering for planning and optimizing the mobile telephony networks 2G, 3G and WiMAX
• Training and specialisation for the entire range of equipment in the field
• Management of projects that deal with the implementation and development of mobile networks
• Installation, commissioning and network integration of transmission equipments, types PDH, SDH radio, OMSN

The personnel of the MC division comprise 140 people, with over 110 that have a relevant university degree, and work in the following fields: BSS, UTRAN, WTD, OND, RNE.

Fixed Communications Division:

FCD covers the whole range of installation, commissioning, integration, interconnection, maintenance, up-grade, operation and technical support for the telecommunications equipments for the fixed and mobile telephony networks of the major telecom operators.
The range of services offered by FCD includes the following:

• Installation, network integration, testing of the following equipments: NSS, IN, Fix HC, UMTS CORE, GPRS CORE, VAS Products, NGN CORE, ngHLR , iGGSN, WiMAX CORE, IPTV
• Software and hardware up-grade of the following equipments: NSS, IN, Fixed HC, UMTS CORE, GPRS CORE, VAS Products, NGN CORE, ngHLR , iGGSN, WIMAX CORE, IPTV
• On-site maintenance of the following equipments: NSS, IN, Fixed HC, UMTS CORE, GPRS CORE, VAS Products, NGN CORE, ngHLR , iGGSN
• Technical assistance - levels 1 and 2 category 24/7 for IN equipments and VAS Products
• Global support centre for IN and VAS type equipments
• Integration of the new technology ( NGN Core, ngHLR, iGGSN, etc.) in the current networks in approximatively 130 countries
• Full execution of telecom networks from the point of view of the Convergence equipments
• Project Management and Technical Project Management services for the Convergence projects

Private Communications Division:

PCD covers the whole range of services related to the installation of telecom equipments for fixed and mobile networks, and are addressed to all the major telecom operators. It also covers the range of non-telecom services offered to the private sector, national companies, public institutions.
